The Effcct of Cysteaminine and Indomethacin on the Gastric Secretion in Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of cysteamine and indomethacin on the gastric secretion in rats.
The results were obtained as follows:
1) Cysteamine group was significantly increase in the volume of gastric juice compared with that of control group, and cysteamine plus indomethacin group was decrease in the volume of gastric juice compared with cysteamine group.
2) Cysteamine group and cysteamine plus indomethacin group were decrease in the pH of gastric juice and increase in the gastric titrable acidity compared with that of control grow), and cysteamine plus indomethacin group was increase the pH of gastric juice and decrease´ in the gastric titrable acidity compared with cysteamine group.
3) Cysteamine group was significantly increase in the alcian blue binding protein compared with that of control group, and but cysteamine plus indomethacin group was not difference in the alcian blue binding protein compared with that of cystamine group.
